The concept was born in the Navy SEALs during the IRAQ deployment. Combat troops needed to stay in peak physical condition in the absence of traditional fitness equipment. From these humble beginnings the hardware used was modified and enhanced into the suspension trainer used today. Every suspension training exercise builds true functional strength and improves flexibility, balance and core stability all at once, as is required on the playing fields of sport and life. The suspension trainer is safe to use by participants of all abilities, fitness, age and gender, as exercises can be regressed or enhanced to suit the users own level of ability.
Suspension training will be incorporated in most Functional Movement Cardio classes as well as Personal Training sessions.
